Corruption and tax evasion

I’m really tired of hearing nonsense about it every day over and over.

Let’s be clear, corruption and tax evasion are definitely to be condemned from a moral point of view, but as for the economic aspect, people need to understand that they are absolutely neutral from a macroeconomic point of view.

Thinking that a state can recover money from the fight against crimes is like thinking of magically multiplying loaves and fish. Obviously it is impossible.

Illicit profits do not dematerialize from reality, but remain in it.

So you want to know where the tax evasion and corruption money went? Well, then look in your pockets! Because actually the money from the illicit activities is right in there.

All the money you have has in fact passed countless times from hand to hand and many of these steps have been related to illicit transactions. It can range from thefts to scams, passing through any other type of crime, obviously including evasion and corruption.

Basically, any media examination on these issues forgets that even those who obtain money from illegal acts eat, live and spend, just like anyone else and therefore money circulates in any case.

DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!

Evasion and corruption were used solely as elements of political propaganda, to distract citizens from the truth, namely that the crisis depends on the austerity policies carried out by the EU; policies that oblige to reduce the currency in the real economy year after year, resulting in an eternal crisis. These two crimes have also been demonized because they are perfect for bringing public opinion exactly where the big financial groups want.

In fact, with evasion, the self-employed are demonized, the authentic engine of the Italian economy and the target of the financial powers, who want them out of the market to replace them.

With corruption, on the other hand, the state is directly demonized, convincing citizens to dismantle it to solve problems, canceling public spending and thus canceling our wealth. Here, too, we only go in the direction in which the great groups of economic power wanted to lead us, to make us cancel the state by invoking the private organizations who want to replace it. In fact, the state, with its democracy, represents a strong obstacle to the domination of finance over the peoples.
